Job Title: Heavy Duty Truck Mechanic

Job Summary:

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy duty trucks, including brake and suspension systems, engines, transmissions, and hydraulics.
• Conduct diagnostic tests to identify and troubleshoot mechanical problems.
• Use hand and power tools to dismantle and reassemble parts and components.
• Follow all safety guidelines and regulations when working on vehicles.
• Keep accurate records of work performed, including parts used and labor hours.
• Communicate effectively with customers to explain repairs and maintenance services.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and adhere to company policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certification in heavy duty truck repair or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of diesel engines, transmissions, and hydraulic systems.
• Experience with diagnostic software and tools.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for long periods of time.

Schedule: Monday to Friday – 08:00 am to 06:00 pm and Saturday – 08:00 am to 04:00 pm.

Experience: Transportation: 2 years (PREFERRED)
